By slowing down and noticing what’s going on in your body (tight shoulders, racing heart, shallow breath), you can respond to stress and emotion more skilfully—without getting swept away.
In practice: This might look like breathwork, grounding exercises, or simply pausing to notice your inner experience in a moment of overwhelm.
